The members of the Potsdam Fire Department would like to thank the community for their outpouring of support for our recently revived firehouse tradition, the Annual Chicken BBQ in March. With your steadfast support, the members were able to sell over 500 chicken halves in just over an hour!!!!
Once again we thank the community for their continued support of the Potsdam Fire Department!
We hope to see everyone next year and maybe with a little bit warmer weather!
A special thank you to Paid Driver Richard Fenton for starting the wood fire at 1am to heat up the sand and get some coals going so members could brave the negative degree temperatures starting at 3am to get the fire going to start cooking the chicken!
Members J.Gallagher, J. Bradish, J. Perry, C. Matthie, M. James, J. Mason, M.Jerome, and M. Bradish flipping the first set of chicken that was placed on the racks
