At 10:17 am St Lawrence County Central Dispatch received a report of a 3 car MVA with injuries Outer Maple Street in Potsdam. Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue and Potsdam PD were dispatched to the scene. Engine-49 went en-route to the scene immediately at the time of the alarm. Potsdam Assistant Chief John Keleher arrived on-scene and established Potsdam command. Engine-49 arrived on-scene and setup for extrication while Potsdam Rescue evaluated the patients. It was determined the easiest way to remove the Pts. was to do a full roof removal. The vehicle was stabilized and a roof removal was performed by Potsdam Fire and Potsdam Rescue. Both Pts. Were removed from the vehicle and transported to CPH by Potsdam Rescue. Traffic was controlled by Potsdam Fire Police with assistance from NYS Dot. All injuries were believed to be non-life threatening. All units cleared the scene at 11:25.
