On Sunday, December 29th 2019, at 0158 hours, Potsdam fire was contacted by Clarkson Safety & Security for a small electrical fire at the base of a light pole in the Lower Cheel Arena Parking Lot. At 0158 hours, Engine 49 (J. Robar) responded and arrived on scene at 0203 hours. Clarkson security met Potsdam Fire on scene and directed them to the base of a light pole where the electrical fire was. Potsdam Fire remained on scene and in the area until Clarkson Maintenance Staff responded and shut the power off to the light pole. Potsdam Fire was in service at 0247 hours.
